Skeelz Community & Marketplace Guidelines
Marketplace conduct, safety, content, and reporting rules.
Effective date: September 18, 2026 • Version: 2026-09-18
These Guidelines apply to profiles, portfolios, project requests, Smart Search submissions, quotes, messages, reviews, images, support interactions, Provider services, and other activity on Skeelz. They are incorporated into the Terms of Service.
1. Be truthful and respectful
- Do not impersonate another person or business or materially misrepresent identity, credentials, work history, services, availability, prices, reviews, or project facts.
- Do not harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, shame, blackmail, or repeatedly contact another person after they clearly ask you to stop.
- Do not post hateful or degrading content targeting protected characteristics or encourage violence or exclusion against a protected group.
- Do not publish another person’s private address, phone number, financial information, identification document, access code, or other sensitive information without a legitimate transaction need and permission.
2. Sexual exploitation, minors and abusive content
- No child sexual abuse or exploitation material, grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, or sexual content involving minors.
- No non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual extortion, trafficking, exploitation, or threats to distribute intimate material.
- The marketplace is 18+. Do not use Skeelz to arrange adult services involving minors or to misrepresent a minor as an adult.
3. Fraud, scams and payment abuse
- No stolen accounts, fake identities, fake payment confirmations, phishing, credential theft, malware, card testing, money laundering, refund abuse, chargeback abuse, or payment diversion.
- No requests for gift cards, cryptocurrency, bank passwords, one-time codes, full payment-card details, or other payment methods used deceptively or to bypass disclosed Platform safeguards.
- No manipulation of referrals, Featured Placement, reviews, ratings, search, reports, refund systems, or Provider eligibility.
4. Prohibited and restricted services
Do not offer, request, facilitate, or advertise a service that is illegal where offered or performed. The following are prohibited or require prior legal authorization and may be removed even if a user claims local legality:
- Weapons trafficking, explosives, illegal drugs, controlled-substance distribution, stolen goods, counterfeit documents, or other criminal commerce.
- Sexual services, human trafficking, exploitation, or services involving coercion.
- Hacking, credential theft, malware deployment, surveillance intended to violate privacy, or unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
- Fraudulent financial, identity, immigration, employment, academic, medical, or legal-document services.
- Regulated professional or trade services performed without licences, permits, supervision, or insurance required by law.
- Work that creates a serious and unreasonable risk of bodily injury, property damage, environmental harm, or unlawful activity.
5. Images, portfolios and intellectual property
- Upload only media you have the right to use.
- Do not upload private images of another person without authorization where privacy or consent is reasonably expected.
- Do not copy another Provider’s portfolio, business identity, logo, or reviews.
- Content may be processed by safety systems, including AI-assisted moderation where disclosed and permitted.
6. Reviews and reputation
- Reviews must reflect a genuine transaction or experience.
- Do not offer undisclosed payment, discounts, threats, or retaliation in exchange for a particular review.
- Do not create fake accounts or coordinate with others to inflate or attack ratings.
- You may dispute a review through available support channels, but disagreement alone does not guarantee removal.
7. Reporting and emergencies
Report suspected fraud, threats, harassment, dangerous conduct, impersonation, prohibited services, or serious policy violations through available in-app reporting or to support@skeelz.ca. Preserve relevant evidence but do not place yourself in danger to collect it. Skeelz is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services for immediate danger.
8. Enforcement
Skeelz may use automated systems, human review, user reports, payment information, account history, or other relevant signals to enforce these Guidelines. Depending on severity and context, actions may include warning, content removal, visibility limitation, feature restriction, payment or refund review, preservation of evidence, temporary suspension, permanent termination, or referral to a payment provider, app store, regulator, or law enforcement. Skeelz may act immediately where necessary to address urgent risk.
